TCU V KU GAME

I bet our guys wanted KU. I know I did.
A win against KU means more than a win against TCU and a loss to KU means less than a loss against TCU. As fun as it is to see the Boo Birds lose, we probably needed for them to win to have a chance of moving past the 6 line.
Vlad was a hell of a fine by TCU. I know Gonzaga and others offered, but props to them for finding the qualified foreign big guy in the juco ranks. I hope we can have a success story like that!

Nah, KU just doesn't care. Like three years ago when they didn't care, but Self kept inserting an injured Perry Ellis to try and slow us down. Or the next year when against us they really didn't care about blowing a 17 point lead in the second half. They cared last year. But not this year.
No, he will get on here saying that this tournament doesn't mean anything and will give KU more time to prepare for the real tournament...then KU will get beat by Belmont in the second round of the big dance like they always do.
I really don't give a rat's ass what the Hawkeyes do.

Our fans in KC SHOULD be concerned about their cars though. Just sayin'. It's totes acceptable to vandalize cars. Cultural Jayhawk thing don't ya know.
The sad thing is, nine other teams in the Big 12 know these calls are coming.
I know that TCU faded down the stretch in the conference but hadn't realized that they had LOST THEIR FINAL SEVEN BIG 12 GAMES before the tournament. So, they go out and beat the #1 ranked team in the USA. Natch.

If that is really true, than we have no in-state rival....which would be sad.
Rivals ALWAYS care what happens with their rival.
Take the McD AAs off the court for Kansas and Self becomes just one of the many good coaches in the Big 12.
Listen, I get annoyed with comments like - "well we lost, but at least Iowa did too so I don't feel as bad".
That is BS.
But it is a bigger pile to pretend a team that is your rival is completely off your radar screen.
Again..if they are, then they are not truly a rival.
Iowa is our instate rival. It is OK to admit that. Ackowledging such doesn't mean when we play them it is our Super Bowl and we don't have bigger fish to fry later in the season.
Some of us don't live in state and are not constantly inondated with iowa propaganda, this we really could not care less about them except for one or two weeks out of the year. I will still bust a troll or two but other hawks I enjoy talking to around here because they have good sports minds.
Well I wanna play the better team. And in this championship tournament, that's TCU!

I like how KU players, bench, and fans are stunned that a foul was called on this. Dude straight up tackled the shooter with 2.5 seconds on the clock - only KU people would think that's not a foul.
