TCU QB Max Duggan's Status Uncertain

Sounds like they found an underlying health condition that will make Duggan's future in football uncertain. The condition was found via Covid testing protocols.

Yeah, he played really well against us last year. Much more poise than I would have expected from a freshman on the road.
 
A lot of turmoil in Gary's program this year. I look for another struggle by his standards if Duggan is out. Baylor, as well, will have trouble with a new staff and no spring practice for the transition. Brewer is key there. His health is always problematic, it seems.
 
That's a bummer. He looked like he was going to be a pain in the ass for the next three years. Hopefully he gets back sooner rather than later.

From an ISU perspective, TCU as the first conference game gets a little easier.

Does anyone know the story on their backup? He's a walkon but he got snaps at UGA as a true freshman.
 
The good news for them is they have all preseason for their backup to take snaps with the first team. I'm sure our coaches are watching whatever film they can find on this guy.
