Octagon of Doomscrolling sure does have some problems lately. The scrolling is more pleasing than watching the games.

Tang's NIL budget is top 15 in the nation and KState is dead last in the Big 12 with a 1-7 record. He's now blaming the NCAA, insisting they should have 3 more players on their roster who've been ruled ineligible.

Tangs buyout is cut in half if Gene Taylor is no longer KSU AD?

wondering if KSU boosters are looking at a "2 birds 1 stone" situation
If it is anything like's Matt's contract's buyout was, the amount he would have to pay drops if the AD is gone, but the amount KSU has to pay to fire him stays the same.

It is around the 7:00 mark for the question and his statement. He brings up the 3 players and NCAA around 7:45.

No surprise that he is excited about bringing in G League players. No surprise there.

He's gonna turn 69 this summer. If I was Prez I'd try and cut a buyout with Gene and wash my hands with all of this.

They're also the opposite in roster build. Tang just pays a lot for a bunch of players that don't fit together, while TJ carefully considers fit above all else when assembling a roster at the best value.
His first year he definitely struck lightning with that lineup of Nowell and Johnson.
Since then its been bad. Was it Dug McDaniel that he was pleading with the admin to allow him to play?
