Tang gonna Tang

I really wanted this to drag out longer. Hopefully we get at least one more season out of this fool.

I think there’s a pretty good chance. Per ksnt.com:

If Tang were to be fired now though the 2025-26 season, K-State Athletics would owe Tang $18,675,000. That number decreases by approximately $3 million each year.

It just warms the heart.

It’s almost too bad that Tang didn’t go to Arkansas. Would have lowered all the SEC teams Ken Pom ratings for years to come

Today's buyout clauses are absolutely insane. I can't believe the schools haven't figured out how to circumvent this somehow.

KSU has gone about roster construction completely wrong. They spend big on 1 impact player who has 1 year to play and then add around him. There is zero development. No continuity or culture from year to year.
And didn't Tang just criticize his own players at the last press conference? He was essentially saying he wasn't the issue, it was the players

You mean by hiring a hot female student as a staffer and hoping the coach can’t keep it in their pants? That’s been pretty successful over the years for many schools. Intentional or not.

Not the first time...

Of all his negative distasteful traits and behaviors, this is really the one that bothers me the most. And that's a high Bae.

Sure, I guess theoretically he might be right. But no leader in any capacity is allowed nor should be allowed to obfuscate responsibility. That's literally why you get the big chair and the big bucks. Precisely so we know know EXACTLY who is ultimately to blame for failing to get a proper return on investment.

I forgot about his astronomical buy-out. I would bet the gift of Tang will keep on giving for at least a few more years, got to get that number down under eight figures.

That's good, but that's not really what I care about.

I want them to realize what brainwashed zombies they were towards ISU program being led by a complete psychopath into fantasy land.
After being there in person and interacting with so many of them online, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Are they particularly mean or rude or bad people? No, they're fine. I wouldn't go that far. It's tough to explain.

But if you drive all the way out into the flint hills, youll find that the insulating distance becomes a good metaphor for how they operate. Nobody likes to huff their own farts and toe the company line as much as KStaters.

As much as our hordes of fans who are hyper critical and can never be satisfied drive us crazy... perhaps the alternative is a fan base that becomes fully enchanted and captured by a fraud the likes of Jerome Tang lol.

Why are you so concerned about what chronically online K-State fans think? People have moved on and our programs are clearly on completely different trajectories.

I quite literally never even think about K-State until they're on our schedule.

I’m probably 1% as concerned as you think, but stuff like this is interesting/funny to me. The human condition.

You described Kentucky under Pope and Calipari and Rutgers last year.
