I know everyone is busy gearing up for the game, tailgating, etc. But take a moment today to remember the 343 FDNY guys that were lost on 9-11. They won't be tailgating, barbecuing with family and watching football. They made the ultimate sacrifice without so much as a second thought. They are heroes that put their safety on the line to save countless people that they didn't even know. As the years go by I hope people don't forget that day.

So take a quick second today to say thank you to those brave men and women. They are heroes and deserve to be remembered as such.

Thanks to all Paramedics/Police/Firefighters on 9/11.

On a different note, this was the first year I didn't even realize that this was coming up. It wasn't until a FB post last night reminded me. Always good to remember those who were lost.

Good thread firefighter. As well as all the emergency crews - paramedic, police fire departments, never forget the innocent people that were just going about they're normal business whether that be working in the towers or Pentagon, and those who were just on a flight.

I went on youtube today to listen to a song that I've loved since I was a child. Think today is appropriate to post it here.
