Tailgate move question

We had a new lot last year. Got there 6 hours before the first game. Took the best spot. About 2 hours before the game a guy stopped by and said we took his spot. We just said he would have to do a lot better than 2 hours before the game to ever get it back.

Oour group has tailgated in the green space between B5 and B6 for going on 10 years (immediately to the east of the bus stop - but usually closer to the sidewalk than to the bus stop) - so I know exactly who you are talking about. They sit in Section D rows 6 and 7.

Anyway - there are 2 or 3 different groups that we have alternated with - simply depends on who gets there first and wether or not it has been raining. If we don't get there 1st it is just part of the game so i say go ahead and take whatever spot you can find.

What's funny is that we did this exact same thing in the exact same spot a couple years ago. It was the first game of the year and I thought the people were going to cry. The next game they actually got there before the lot opened and had someone sitting there in a lawn chair.

The only thing I know about this group is that one of them drives a Honda Ridgeline and there is some 40+ woman who dresses like she's 20 and likes to get drunk and dance.

We're in A3 west of that sign pole. That woman might have a sister or cousin a few rows from us. (rolling eyes now.) You can either be embarrassed or titillated if you watch long enough. (Hey, that's a legitimate word!)

For those of you losing sleep wondering how this turned out.....

It was a non-issue. We were first to arrive and set up in the new spot, but it turned out there was plenty of room in the area to support both tailgates so when the other group arrived, they set up right next to us.

Update on the dancing 50+ woman. She was there and she was dancing (a little less than before). It's like a train wreck that I have to watch. She was with another MIWLTF this time.
