Survivor: One World

I watched the show today. The bottom 4 should have taken Troy's offer. Without the numbers, they're gone. It's gonna be pretty tough for Troy to make it to the final 3 which sucks. He went a little crazy today but I still like him.

like usual they are too stupid to realize they should jump ship and instead the rest of the season they'll be picked off one by one until the final four is who we all knew it'd be

Yep. Unfortunately the rest of the season won't be exciting unless Troy wins the immunity challenges. The preview for next week made it look like the girls were in an argument of some sort.

they have to try to make it look exciting in the previews but im not getting my hopes up that they'll finally vote out kim and her arrogant grin at every tribal

Yeah I know they're just drawing us in. I'm not gonna stop watching just cause it isn't going how I want.

neither will i but im just getting sick of how predictable every season is getting to be anymore

they need to bring in some better contestants instead of just people who they hope will be good for tv

I've looked at the application for the show and it acts like you gotta be mentally and physically fit to get on the show. There's a bunch of stuff like that and the contestants that actually get on the show are the ones who they think will be good for tv like you said. It'd be cool to see a season of fairly equal contestants. They'd still have their own personalities but there wouldn't have to be people like Tarzan.

How to stop the predictability? Make the immunity necklace playable AFTER the votes are cast. This, IMO, is the dumbest thing about the rules of the game. Somebody wins immunity, has the option to keep it or give it to someone else, but it has to be played before the vote? DUMB.

This is the problem with Survivor, after awhile it gets pretty predictable. I think that it would be interesting to see two separate tribes that don't merge, but each team is at the same campsite. Even if one team dwindles down to one person they will have to go against the other tribe in team immunity to determine who goes to tribal council. That way teams are still competing against each other, and then you won't see the strategy of the team that has numbers picking off the other team that doesn't once they get to the merge.

But how do you set up team challenges in a way that allow one person of a tribe to be the only competitor for that team? They usually involve teamwork and I think if they changed up the challenges a lot, they'd be not as exciting.
Unless you mean that once a tribe gets low on numbers, they switch to individual immunity challenges.

It would be 2-vs-2 or 1-v-1 with the team that has the numbers deciding who going up against the team with fewer people.

They could do that. I like seasons where they switch something up. That's why I liked Redemption Island. Maybe they'll tell us at the finale that next season will be special.

In season 10, one team lost every single immunity challenge and it ended up being something like 8-1 at the merge... so they could make that work if they wanted to as they have already done it before.

While I agree Tarzan is a moron it was Colton that originally brought up going to tribal after they had won immunity and he got Tarzan to back that. Funny thing is it was meant to vote off Lief for telling Bill about their plan to get rid of him and instead they voted off Bill anyways. It still is a defining moment this season as it just shows how dumb the guys have been all along and when has it every worked out for the better in the past whenever someone gave up immunity? It NEVER has and instead of 1 player being voted off for a stupid move they all are getting picked off 1 by 1 for that essentially.

I don't get Tarzan's thinking, he's been voting with the women the last few times which if I was left I'd take him to the final 3 since no one on the jury is going to think he deserves to win so maybe that is his plan to play the role of village idiot and get to the final 3.

Troy needs to calm down the smack talk and just keep winning immunity. Once he got it and started to think rationally he had a good sales pitch to Christina and Alicia who both right now are in denial that they are likely #5 and #6 in their all-women alliance. Hopefully Troy can get those 2 and Tarzan to come on board and make it a 4-4 tie to stir it up some and see if they can crack the women's alliance. If you were not confident you are top 4 in your alliance at this point now is the time to make the move and get yourself into the top 4 with someone else.

99% agree, but Parvati gave up 2 immunity necklaces and it worked out well for her.

You know what I mean, as in at tribal the person who won immunity that day gives it up and usually got voted out in the same tribal. Essentially that is what the guys did with their team immunity. Giving away hidden immunity idols is another thing but when you WIN immunity for that day you never give that up, hidden immunity is just a bonus after that.
