Sunday Ticket Future

And this is where MLB totally drops the ball, misses the boat, and continues to prove how incompetent they are … they could literally print money if they charged people to stream their favorite team, instead of blacking out everything within 500 miles so regional fans can’t watch their teams.
I'm a Royals fan living in Iowa. It's asinine that I can't watch them. MLB is a dying brand mainly because of self inflicted wounds.

I'm in this camp. If I can watch my team for $99/season, sign me up for life.
The last 2 years Directv has given me the NFL ticket free and I never even asked for it. About a month before the season started I received and email saying they were giving it to me. I figured after last season I wouldn't get again this year but I did. I would rather they take that money off my monthly bill but I'm not complaining.

It took me way too long to find out how incredible redzone is, but I’m never going back

Id take a favorite team only deal for $99. i dont give a rats ass about dolphins or texans games unless they are playing my team.
This is a very good idea. I'd pay for that in a second.

Isn't that strange? I signed up for internet and it was cheaper to bundle with cable. I've never hooked up the cable once in 5 years

But...they did throw in HBO free for 6 months. We're 5 years down the road and enjoying free HBO Max to this day.

How can stuff like that just slip through? Sunday Ticket is a high cost item!

Might want to double check your bill. Your plan might include Sunday ticket, which means you are paying for it. just not all up front.

Our bill has been the same. I've been with them since 2000. They are probably hurting for business since people have so many options and maybe they want to keep the customers they have happy.

I have also gotten free Sunday Ticket the last couple of years with Dtv.

Before my ex and I split, she was full time work from home and her company paid $50 of our internet bill. She switched jobs internally to an in-office position, but they didn't stop paying the $50. We split, company still paid $50 of my internet bill. Took damn near three years for them to stop. Only stopped because they ended the entire program company wide. That was the end of my need to keep Mediacom internet; why switch when >50% of the bill is paid by some other entity.

You'd be surprised by how much slips through at big companies.

I’m curious how they’ll roll this out. $10 per month for the RedZone Channel (and other sports channels) which you can cancel after football season is a steal.

We lived in house for 10 years with Mediacom cable and never paid for it.

The best thing about RedZone is the lack of commercials. It's tough to watch SNF after watching 7 hours of football with no commercials.

I would do the $99 to get all the niners games next season if Purdy is the starter. But that would be only to follow and root for Purdy, I will never be a Niners fan or wear their gear.
