If you have kids, or if you did, what parade or Halloween candy would you steal from their bag when they aren’t looking? I go for the baby Twix and nerds.

This was referred to as the "Dad Tax" in our household. Generally it was possible to successfully negotiate the candy that was surrendered as tax to candy that Dad liked but kids did not. Thus the negative impact was minimized.
