Just think back of how exciting it was to get new parts for your bow. Now you get to experience it all over again! Lucky duck.
 
I personally would let the police do all the work if you do happen to locate it. Do not confront the person even with a cop present. Contact the police department when you find it, let the detectives handle it, this person could have more they can pin on them and put them away for a while. If you let them handle it they will make sure to recover the stolen items rather than having the person flee and dump the item off, or risk you getting hurt. Also the idea of bringing a weapon with you is a bad idea, this shows intent and if something happens to the person you'll be the only person around to blame. Just some advice, I'm an avid bowhunter myself and I'd be distraught if I lost my bow. If you don't end up finding it I'd gladly sell you mine (Hoyt Katera) which is currently on craigslist, even has ISU colored strings and cables.

Get an account and browse archery talk classifieds. You can find some sweet deals there if your brave and wanna try the online forum paypal transactions. Worked smoothely for me twice.
 
Anyone who knows more about this than I do want to take a look at the listing and compare the pictures? Looks similar to me, but it is the same type of bow, so shouldn't they all look somewhat similar?

Yeah it's the same type of model. Couple red flags are
-different arrow rest
-different trigger release
-different arrows in the case
-different sstabilizer
-mine I believe was made by joe
 
That sucks man. I bow hunt and know how big of a blow that is financially.

If you don't get it back (I haven't read through the thread maybe you have) you can get a PSE instead! :wink: haha Just kidding, Mathews makes a good bow.

Nope, sorry. I'm a nice guy, but not that nice. I just got the DNA this summer. Pretty sweet.

I have an ArcheryTalk account, I'll try to watch the classifieds for yours. A lot of bows sold on their everyday, so there is a chance it might show up.
