Enjoyed the season overall but like others have said, found it inconsistent in pace and focus. A lot of the reveals outside of
were telegraphed or just too drawn out. Might have made a fantastic movie for streaming but Disney+ is allergic to anything that doesn't incentivize holding a subscription across fiscal quarters.
Assuming they do a second season, we really need some of the main characters to have more depth. I thought Venestra was really wooden and Mae's flipflopping motivations are more convenient for the plot then sensical. Osha came a long way as an interesting character in the finale (finally). I kinda wish they'd just do some Witch Voodoo and turn Mae and Osha into one person. The twins-but-not-twins thing is very meh as far as lore and world building.
