As long as they keep the names Jack Trice Stadium and Hilton Coliseum, I don’t care what they name the field/Court/endzones/etc. And if they’re paying the AD millions, even better.

As a comparison Minnesota is getting $1.4m/yr ($35m over 25 years) to be TCF Bank Stadium and Houston is getting $1.5m/yr ($15m over 10 years) to be Texas Dow Employees Credit Union Stadium.
Yeah, from what i can find, its right in the ballpark for stadium rights deals, which this would compare to, since we were never going to rename the stadium itself.
There have been higher money value donations (such as the Reiman's) but you have to factor in their donation is really that, a donation, where even though they got some naming on things, its different than a business buying naming rights- the business needs to get full marketing value on their investment, its up to the donor how much naming recognition they want.
Kinda funny since Ames is tied to Alliant. Iowa State and energy kind of go hand in hand so I kinda like it from a sponsor standpoint. This was inevitable after all.

Nope, Walters has to now say, Cyclones have entered the Case IH red zone on the Mid American Energy field located at Jack Trice Stadium. Then he will tell you what happened during the play because it will take a play to spit that out.
Would think they would also get naming rights on the buildings. Would explain how we moved so quickly on a 60-80 MM project when we seemed to wait so long on the 45MM project for the south endzone.
