I think he will have a very real shot at Big 12 Player of Year as well.
His ability to finish in transition is second to none. He can cause frustrations in the half court but hopefully he realizes that and tries to improve.
I think as (hopefully) other guys find their footing on offense things won't be so forced.
I hope Key didn't break Gilbert's nose tonight. If it is broke, Key can give him a few nose masks for tomorrow's game.
Cut down on the turnovers and he goes from really good to elite.

For reference. Gilbert averaged 2.8 turnovers per game last year and 2.0 so far this year. Jamaal Tinsley averaged 4.0 turnovers per game during his ISU career. I know Jamaal was the primary PG and Keshon has been more of a 2 guard, but I think his turnovers are a little overblown.
Talked to Keys parents. They said he has a cut on his nose, he'll be fine.
I don't think he would have been able to finish tonight's game so strong with a broken nose. Big bump and cut though.

And to think he was preseason big 12 2nd team. What a joke that placement was.
He’s amazing. But not all American until he takes care of turnovers. Which he will.
Only knock on him is he seems to try to force contact too much when trying to finish at the rim. It does draw some fouls but he doesn't seem to finish a lot of those.
Fair. But they’re in key moments which amplify them more. Last night was brutal. A couple tonight second half too. I’m not dogging him at all. He’s incredible. Just think if he takes care of those giveaways in key times he’s just that much better.
We might go as far as Gilbert takes us.
He can 'almost' single-handedly keep us in any game. Almost.
Thing is, when the other pieces are clicking, along with Gilbert, we will be a tough out.
