It seems that the culture is one of 'one-ness' with the group and hopefully that helps recruiting.

As individualized as basketball is for pro prospects etc. that sort of culture of a real connection can be enticing.

Those 40 point beat downs in Columbia and Lawrence that Coach Orr took on in the 80's and 90's must have been erased from your memory. Same for the entire 1970's (minus Coach John).

Perhaps even last year.

I admittedly had doubts after the hire and was wrong on every level and I am so glad. One of the great coaching jobs to ever happen at ISU and last night did nothing but give me hope. If THAT group of guys can make it work.... can we do this again?

Agreed, that was a really bad performance against a bad defense. Their numbers don't lie, they were ranked 119th in defense which is alot worse than even Iowa was.

That being said there is no way I can be unhappy with the season. Besides, sending that POS Davison home in front of his own fans is Wisconsin was probably the biggest ISU win in 20 years.
