I think that is why they think its a gang doing it. The article that OP posted had that in it. A lot of it is around the upper US.

Didn't originally read the op because I thought it was just about the fact there's a show about it and I'm not really interested in that. I read the article and I'm still on the fence. I entertain the idea because it's definitely possible and interesting to think about but gun to my head, I don't think there's a gang linked up via the dark web doing this. GHB in someone's system doesn't lead me to believe it was murder in most cases. People spike drinks because they're ******** who want to see people act a fool. If somebody is out and about alone and that happens, a lot of bad things could happen because they are no longer in control and have no clue what they're doing. I don't think anybody can say that it's totally impossible the SFK are responsible for all of this but nobody can say with confidence that they are either.

I would have to look around to be sure but I swear I read something way back where a detective talked about investigating it and thought there was something to it. I'm not going to say it's legit but there's enough to it that it can't just be dismissed as a ridiculous theory. My biggest hang up is that there would have to be multiple people in on it to cover all the area that people think it has happened and that's highly unlikely. It's rare for two crazy people to hook up and do crazy evil **** let alone god knows how many it would take to pull this off.

This is the problem with 99% of all conspiracy theories. When you realize the level of organization, how many would have to be involved, and most importantly how many would have to keep quiet, the majority of them fall apart.
