Silver lining: possibly get healthy

and that's great. But he was amazing last night and will still lost.
Depending on seed, we won't see a team as good as OU until the Sweet 16. If ISU makes the Sweet 16, we're playing with house money at that point.

People are fooling themselves if they think he will just be fine next week. This thing will take the offseason to heal.

I don't think anyone thinks he's going to be completely healed, but having a week off to rest his shoulder versus playing physical games versus WVU and either KU/Baylor isn't a bad thing. At least he doesn't run the risk of further injury.

It still just creeps me out that Burton's tooth went through his cheek. I know that isn't going to affect performance in the same way as Monte's shoulder, but he took it so well. Makes me laugh again when I think about Peter Jok rolling around on the floor forever with the eye poke.

Not to defend Jok but have you ever gotten poked in the eye really good? Jok may be a **** but it can hurt a ton. Especially if there's some scratching.

Many times, both in basketball and from my own small children. It never affected my legs.
