I have never understood the obsession with Purdy. Doesn’t have an arm and constantly needs to be bailed out by his receivers due to throwing into coverage.

Purdy had a bad game - it happens - I think the culprit here is only rust and as per the usual this team will look 100% different in 3 weeks. This wasn’t on Purdy, this was on a lot of things

I'm pretty sure not even his wife has overrated Tom Manning. There are a few on here that are friends with him so will try to convince everybody of all our offensive records over the past few years, but I will repeat they're despite him, not because of him.
Agreed. Purdy has started because he’s older for 1.5 years. The staff should be playing better arm talent that doesn’t consistently f**k the team in critical moments.
Brock has no chance out there. He has been turned into a game manager by Tom. It’s amazing Brock has done as well as he has with this guy, I mean Iowa had 174 yards and was in control the entire game.

Manning deserves blame, but Campbell deserves equal criticism to your complaints about Purdy/the offense.
The sad thing is, there is no consistency in Manning's play calling from game to game. He will be horrible one game then the next its lights out. It has happened like that many times. I never makes sense to me.
He threw several interceptions on badly thrown balls that led directly to bad field position and points despite being in a tight game. Just blaming the problems on Manning is silly, Purdy has a significant portion of blame.
