I saw a video last night from one of the sports talking heads and he stated that agents had been talking about this for the past month, and Michigan was likely going to move on with cause from Moore. They were just getting their ducks lined up legally before they made the move. Make you wonder why Campbell if he had heard the rumors would not wait around for Michigan to open up, but it could be PSU wanted a decision and Michigan was not a sure thing to move on from Moore. When the guy asked a person at Michigan he was told that Moore was always a stop gap to get them through the investigation, and asked "if we fired him tomorrow, how many schools would be out offering him a job the next day?".

I was wrong in Campbell taking the Penn State job. Kinda shocked he actually pulled the trigger. But that thinking was more my personal beliefs than any information.

Outside of Ohio State and ND, Penn State was obviously #3.

From what I know, didn’t agree with the Michigan Way and their actions of their athletic department/football operations.

Now if he were to ever jump to Michigan, then it’s a complete reversal of what his specific beliefs were even a couple of years ago. But now he’s considered Fair Game in the coaching world.
