I would usually agree with this statement but the power dynamic makes it, uh, icky at best.

If Coach was making her feel like a promotion, a raise, a bonus, or a loss of employment was potentially depending on her choices then it's a bad situation. Even if he wasn't explicit in that, the supervisor-employee role makes it easy to understand her if she said it felt that way.

Alabama fired Mike DuBose for having an affair with his secretary. The 3-8 record in 2000 didn't help either! Then, of course, there is the Mike Price affair with "Destiny". Didn't even get to coach a game before he was gone. Heard a Wazzu fan say at the time: "I thought Price was in over his head, but I thought he would at least get to coach a game to prove it!"

I want to disagree but also am extremely biased on that. I think 15-20 years ago sure but not in 2025. I also want to say or at Michaign but I’m not objective

So is that what qualifies you as a Michigan Man? You just have had to be some form of a coach/assistant there, at some point? And it only is a qualification for the Head coach?

Just was curious because for the majority of Moores Career he was not a "Michigan man", when he was hired.

Alumni or former player status or former coach with ties to the program. Winning a Natty as OC and stepping in during Harbaughs suspension for sure applies.
