Season ticket holders

That makes a lot of sense financially

It does for the long-term. Donations will stay high due to basketball requirements but football attendance is going to take a huge hit this year and next unless they do something extreme to take care of the "sheep" who continue to methodically march into JTS without a true return.

For years we've been told that we couldn't compete financially and our fans have done their part. At levels that are unimaginable based on increased donations and our attendance.

Not at all. The people that bought season tickets can afford them and there is no point giving their money back.

If I am not in the field yes. I have already paid for the tickets no use letting them go to waste. Not much better way to spend a nice Saturday then at a football games no matter how bad the product on the field is. Plus the players need to know the fans are still behind them.

for those of you who say you won't miss a game to cheer on your beloved Cyclones, how do you make your voice heard? Some choose to not show, some choose different ways so I'm curious as everyone on here so far seems to be going because they always have.

I believe Pollard is smart enough to know when it's time. He did with Dan McCarney. He knew the potential without him vs. the with him. Just look at the attendance numbers after DMAC. Pollard wants the attendance numbers to grow and if Rhoads doesn't have at least 5 wins this year, I'm confident Pollard will do what he has to.

Yes. Always tailgate when the weather is decent. Plus it is the last game I am fairly confident we will win.

This is why there will still be good attendance for that game. Lose it and you'll really see people calling for Rhoads' head (as if fans aren't). Even if we win, however, it will take a miracle to have the current trajectory change.

All 4 of us will be going to every game this year. Now if this team finishes with just 2 or 3 wins then I don't think I can convince them to spend the money next year because it took some doing this year.

I'll be there. I said before the season that this year was my probation year for the team. My 30th year as a season ticket holder and watching games like the past two years finally have me worn down. So far for this season, while not happy with the results, I feel like we have at least had a chip, a chair, and a prayer. I'll let the season play out and judge as it goes, if we continue to be "in games" I will probably hang on for another season or another coach. If we a dominated in a majority of the games, physically and scoreboard and no coaching change, I'll likely just catch a game or two every year and continue to take a roady or two. I can't continue to invest emotionally or financially in something that ruins the rest of my Saturday and all of a Sunday. Hope this team hangs in there.

Alright everyone who is a season ticket holder.. Are you going to the Kansas game?

I'm probably going. Likely to drop season tickets if Rhoads returns in 2016. Will continue making donation but I was really on the fence about even getting tickets this year.

This is the question that needs to be answered. People have already paid for this year's season tickets, so they might as well go.

But.... will you buy season tickets next year if we go 2-10 again this year and Rhoads is brought back again? That is what JP will have to find the answer to.

Went to the CO game in Boulder the week they fired Hawkins and met a Buff's fan who didn't know what he would do anymore now that they fired Hawkins. He only went to the game to boo Hawkins and hold up a sign about firing him. So maybe that is the route we can take?

I was also at that game. Just awful football.

I don't have season tickets, but am considering going to the WVU game since it's the closest to where I live and the only Big 12 place I haven't visited for a game. I may go for the sake of going, being that I'm so far from Ames these days, but if we're only at 1-2 wins, is it worth spending my holiday weekend on that trip? I don't know.
