All his best known movies I'm not a huge fan of. I'll always remember him from Naked Gun 33 and 1/3

Remo Williams is a classic, too bad, he was a good one.

I loved Remo Williams as a kid. They played it on HBO all the time in the late 80s. Really liked Escape from Alcatraz and The Right Stuff too for the same reason. Also thought he was funny as the dad in Sweet Home Alabama.

I'm probably the only person who's favorite movie of his was Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins. That's because I used to read the Remo Williams books when I was a kid long before they made that first movie. I had hoped that The Adventure Begins would be only the first in a long line of Remo Williams movies, but like I said, I'm probably the only person who liked that first and only one.

He was great in Big Business... Bette Midler, Lily Tomlin, Fred Ward, Edward Hermann, Michael Gross. Little out of the way comedy, but a movie I always liked and Fred Ward was great in it. RIP.
