"Love Will Show Us How" was the follow up single to "Got A Hold On Me." Both went top 40: the former to #30 and the latter to #10 on the Hot 100 (#1 Rock Tracks, #1 AC as well).
Sounds like the Pretenders. I know those artists kind of rubbed shoulders and traded musicianship quite often, probably. Talented group she was in and around.
I just listened to about 3 ours of Fleetwood Mac on my two channel stereo. My goodness how awesome they are, and they sound great on a good audio system. The Wharfedale Linton loudspeakers do them justice.
I admire someone who goes the extra step to get a great sound system. I can't say I was ever one of those people, yet can appreciate the difference.
So I will try to fake that I 'know' what those speakers are!
There are seemingly thousands of speaker brands out there, but the Wharedale Lintons have been getting a lot of attention from audiophiles the last couple of years because they produce a spacious, weighty, warm sound at an "affordable price". Most of Fleetwood Mac's material has good production, their recordings are not compressed, so on a good system, the sound quality is amplified (no pun intended). I regret never being able to see them live, but I have the next best thing I guess.I admire someone who goes the extra step to get a great sound system. I know you two were tongue in cheek, but CM passing and then revisiting FM music, I've been borderline schizophrenic the past 2 days. It has hit hard.
