UK outrebounded Richmond 54-31, by a stat sheet I saw. Also didn’t make a single 3.

they were only 7 point dogs and returned everybody from the 2nd place A10 team last year. Not exactly a stunner.
Richmond +8 was a gift from vegas. They are a top 25 caliber team, Kentucky is starting 4 freshmen.
Not stunning that they won. A solid team full of veterans who have played together along time vs a team full of freshman who's practice schedule has likely been inconsistent. Not that surprising.
These upsets don't have near the impact as in the past.
The 5 star buyers have almost no carryover continuity from year to year.
I say this about every year but so long as a team gets it together in conference season, a loss here and there in November and December is meaningless outside of maybe seeding.
