If a certain football coach were to ever leave here for the NFL, I believe the meltdown over there would look like two kittens drinking from a saucer compared to what would happen on here.

I don't know about that.

You shouldn't give cats dairy.

The aftermath can be unpleasant for both you and the cat.

Or if a certain basketball coach went to the NBA even though we all knew he was going to eventually

Will be interesting to see if they hold onto all their recruiting class...it was small (15 total), but it did include two 4-stars and their overall average 24/7 was higher than 3 other Big 12 schools including ISU. Very rough time to leave a team though, but better than waiting until after the final signing day in Feb. This will be a fascinating hire process...do they go with an up and comer or do they perhaps go after a fired NFL coach? They will pay Oklahoma or Texas $'s, so the aperture is wide open.

It's interesting that Rhule got an NFL gig and Lincoln Riley didn't. Giants just hired some random NE assistant.
Did Riley even interview?

Seems like he enjoys college well enough to stick around for a long time.

Yeah, I was kind of hoping the Cowboys would go after Riley. Did they even interview him?

(And "random"?)

It was entertaining watching Baylor fans thinking they were getting $20 to $70 million in buy out money.

Just to get $6m, absolutely entertaining.

they should be thrilled with 6 million. That’s a very good buyout.

Carolina has a new owner who happens to be the wealthiest in the entire league since Paul Allen passed. Definitely made Rhule an offer he couldn't refuse.

Also, this team can easily win the division with that defense. Part of Cam's problem was having a horrible offensive line. When healthy, Cam is a generational talent who has lead a team to a super bowl appearance

The NFL is loaded with generational talents. I'd even go so far to say he's 4th best in his own division. Gotta be more than that Cam.
