This looks like a house cleaning.

Yeah, looks like a total house cleaning on the defensive side of the ball.

Who would the starting LB’s be as of right now? Pederson, Vaughn, and Zenzen? Yikes! I think one of the freshman probably start if this is the case.

Did Horne really get passed over? What do I know but he looked pretty good to me this past year.

Makes you wonder if there are some portal guys coming in on defense. Still you hate to lose good young players. Portal guys are usually 1 year and done. It worked well for the MBB team, but they will need to replace 5 guys next year, plus they are 3 short right now. Unless some guys take their Covid year.

Help me out who is Reeder, can't find any info. TIA

He would bring a lot of experience and I expect a youth movement in the LB corps next year, he would (hopefully will) be a good balance to that. Only highlight film I saw of him was weirdly sped up to like 1.25x speed, so not the best to work with but he looked to be a playmaker especially in the run game.

LB will definitely take some lumps, but Vaughn really came on.

Despite the losses of Eisworth and Young, I am pretty high on the safeties. In my opinion in the latter half of the Big 12 season McDonald and Freyler absolutely stood out, and were playing as well as anyone on defense, save for Will McD and Ewazurike.

I'm no longer worried about the defense at all next year.

Biggest question marks will be replacing the production from Kolar and Hall. Need one receiving threat emerge between Shaw, Jackson, Dean, Moore and Noel and maybe one freshman WR to contribute. I think RB will end up being fine.
