Return of the Superdog!

gyros > hotdogs

When I went on vacation in Greece I was pretty shocked that french fries in the gyro is a standard common thing, almost always part of it.

I cannot believe a country other than the USA could have incorporated that, yet there it was. It was good.

Where is it set up at, or is it moving around?

Hope it sticks around my daughter, upcoming Senior currently off for summer, loves Gyros, she will love having it available.

Might have to run up for a meal with her sometime this summer though as I also love them.

My daughter has been to Greece and said the same thing, pretty sure she sent me some pics of Gyros with Fries there.

Need to try that myself.

It seems like a non authentic American idea but they do it that way and it’s great.

That seems like an odd location. Is there a lot of foot traffic there or something, that I am not aware of?
Busy intersection with the business not needing the parking really and definitely don't need the parking at night.
Sweet corn stand has been there in the summer for decades.
I remember that spot being an Amoco.

The greek place we went to before we moved had gyros and fries and the fries were covered in tzatziki and feta cheese. Was one of my favorite meals. I wish you could get fries from more places like this.

I'm pretty sure I've posted it elsewhere, but I developed a superdog recipe for a party and it came out perfectly.

I found some ancient blog of people travelling to college towns and learning about the unique subcultural things each has to offer. They interviewed the superdog guy and he talked about the recipe. This is the real deal.

-Bun
-Cooked hot dog
-Pineapple "sauce" (it's just crushed pineapple)
-Roasted garlic cilantro mayo sauce (roast garlic and dice up with cilantro, then mix into mayo)
-"Secret sauce" (it's just thousand island)
-ketchup
-mustard
-crushed up Lay's
-Cooked bacon slice
-Monterey jack cheese
-Broil

In that order. Sauce on bottom and cheese on top helps it all stay together

I have gone all 41 years of my life without ever having a single hotdog. Not sure if that's the cause of all my issues, but a Superdog doesn't sound any more enticing to me.
You can’t be serious. There is no way any American has never had a hotdog. My mind is blown if this is true. I’d also suggest you go to the nearest hotdog stand/grocery store/Costco and get yourself a damn hotdog. Mustard and relish for the toppings.

Super dog > fajita man > Gyros
I probably had 10x more fajitas than super dogs because it's better and the line was typically shorter. Smothers from Jeff's were also golden to line the stomach before passing out.
