Like knowing we were close. Wish we could’ve snagged him. Much less competition for him to start at 149 for UNI, he could be a starter for many years there

The one that makes me wonder a little is that Mendez is registered for US Open at 61kg. He is a 133/141 tweener right now. Swiderski seems more like a 141/149 tweener so size might have played a little role in it. I would’ve loved to see him wrestle Chittum. Was he wrestling Jesuroga in the Sebolt room when he came to iowa? Like to hear how those goes went.
I’m sure he’s beating Jesuroga given the size advantage. He beat Ayala last year in a dual.
I meant Joel since they are both 145. In the latest flo rankings they have Joel at 8th.
Ok. Of that is even remotely competitive than Swiderski is not what we think he is.
What I am asking is. Have any of the rankings services did a year end school class rankings? What is ISU ranked? I have heard we could be any where from 2nd to 5th. Thanks.
MatScouts/Willie have been releasing their recruiting class rankings in groups of 5. They just released 6-10 today. I’m not a subscriber but don’t think they’ve mentioned ISU yet. Hope someone will post once they release the top 5.
I believe Missouri was #6
He released 6-30. UNI is #25 and Iowa is #15. Cyclones are either outside the top 30.... or inside the top 5
