Recruits stats and Senior performance

A little highlight tape from Conditt's triple double last night. He has a lot of potential with that length and ability to stretch the floor, but it's going to be a huge adjustment for him next year. I think he could really benefit as a redshirt but we'll see what the staff thinks.

He seems really comfortable dribbling for a big young guy. All those little dudes have a heck of a time shooting over him. Seems to have good timing and vision on his blocks, though clearly his competition isn't used to going up against guys with his size and skill.

I think it may take a year under his belt, but I feel really good about Conditt's game translating to the B12 once he fills out a little.

Agreed. Can't teach size but Condit isn't lumbering type of big. He already has a smooth outside shot and moves with fluidity of a smaller player.
Conditt obviously needs to add weight so it is hard to project him to be an immediate contributor once on campus but, I could see him finding a handful of minutes early as a shot blocker and rebounder if needed.

I know people get crucified for mentioning redshirting on here but if anyone’s a candidate for on it’s him. Combine the fact that he looks like he needs to fill out a bit and that we’ll have Lard, Solo, and Jacobson will make it pretty tough for him to find meaningful minutes next year.

Typically redshirting is rare, but given what we have next year, his weight, and the fact they might change the transfer rule(which is completely stupid)... it could happen.

Just comes down to if he can help the team next year or not.

Will THT end up being a higher rated recruit than Wigginton was? Crazy to think that could happen considering how high Wigginton was

Maybe on Rivals. He's not going to pass him on 247 or ESPN as he's not even top 100 and they probably only have 1 more update. He'd have to climb 8-9 spots in the final Rivals update to pass Lindell. Either way, I can't wait to see them play together. That'll be fun!!

I just can't believe Conditt didn't have a lot more offers. Seems like these days if you've got that kind of height, no matter what kind of skills you have, you have a ton of offers. And Conditt actually is very skilled with that height.

Is he a bit thin, yes, but so are a lot of guys, like Mo Bamba at Texas for example. Bamba only has an inch on Conditt. And Bamba is a one and done. Conditt has some handles, runs the court extremely well, has a decent shot out to 3 pt range, blocks a ton of shots, etc.

I'm VERY happy he's going to be a Cyclone. Conditt is not a Luka Garza player. Luka is slow, no handles, no outside shot, can only play center type player. Conditt is MUCH more athletic, mobile, shot blocker, can play multiple positions type guy. I'd much rather have Conditt than a Garza type player.

THT reminds me a lot of a former Simeon star - Nick Anderson...

Now that might be one of the best comparisons I've heard. Good one.

He also reminds me a bit of ex ISU player Doug Collins from back in the day, but I think THT is more skilled.

When will 247 update their rankings? It's crazy the difference in ranking on THT between them and rivals.
