I know we were recruiting him at one point, anyway, he's off the board.

Four-star forward Matt Ryan has committed to Notre Dame.
That's too bad. Why anyone would want to play for a guy like Mike Brey is baffling. The guy hasn't accomplished much in his 13 seasons at Notre Dame in the tournament. I wonder how hard Fred was recruiting the guy.
I know this is a little off topic, yet its about college bb recruiting. I think I saw a tweet from TJ about Romar at UW getting 10 or 11 NBA players drafted in 13 years. Well, if that's the case, isn't it about time Romar returns to getting consecutive NCAA appearances now? Seems to me he's had plenty of talent and they haven't done a whole lot (lately).

Calipari seems to have a new recruiting method where he waits to see who Fred offers then waits a few months and offers them later. Hope we get both Cheick and Henrh away from Kentucky. That would be huge.

Probably top 15ish assuming they'd be the only two high school commits this cycle. A class of 2 won't get rated all that high strictly because of numbers.
I assume you're joking, but that's the same crap hawk fans say about kirk. Except, they're serious.
Based on how little we've heard from Ellenson, I think we're back pretty far on his list.
As for Diallo, I think we have a legit chance, but you still have to put our odds pretty low based on who else is on his list.
On good thing about Diallo is he did not grow up a fan of anyone. So he might see us as just as legit as say Kansas. It's not like he is a kid that grew up in the USA
That's a good point, and also he's actually visited our campus. Unlike most of these big time guys that we recruit, but they never actually step foot on our campus, Diallo has already done that and is trying to set another visit, IIRC.
Until they step onto your campus, you can't really have much confidence in their interest, IMO.
Or they have the exact same recruiting method they've always had, which is offer every 5 star from coast to coast every single year.
