From what I've heard, the coaches are higher on Yakwe than Diallo

I think Syracuse is the team to beat for both of them. If not Syracuse, it will be tough to get them away from the east coast.

Jerry Myles holds an offer from Iowa State, visited Ames multiple times in the last year and was wearing a bright gold ISU hoodie this night.

The 6-foot-6 Amir Coffey sports offers from Penn State, Miami, Minnesota, Creighton and Iowa State.

The Cyclones have one of the longest-standing relationships with Coffey.

It sounds like we aren't recruiting Johnson/Noskowiak that hard anymore so maybe that means they feel good about Myles

Had heard a while ago that we might have cooled on Illikainen some. No reason given, though.

Idk. There's so much that goes on with recruiting that its hard to even speculate. Guess we just have to hope we get our share and continue the great ride we've been on as far as team success. There's a part of me that agrees with some others here that we're hesitant to take some high school kids just because we are at that stage where we don't know if they'll either 'make it' or settle for 'waiting their turn' while they develop their game. In other words, 3 or 4 years ago the Sledge's, Okoro's, Gibson's, etc. were high school kids who were offered that couldn't contribute much, thus the transfer situations, etc. Just think they want to be sure a player will definitely be big12 material.
