These two would be the big prizes from Xavier's class. It isn't unheard of for schools that weren't previously recruiting these guys to get involved once they reopen things. Hell I'd take all 5 of Xavier's commits haha

Agree, I think ISU will actively try to get involved with him if Mack leaves and he is released from his LOI with Xavier. If Fred wasn't all in with RV, Macura may have ended up signing with ISU last fall.
Stars don't matter when a player's on the court; they certainly matter when it comes to recruiting them, though.
Let's just say stars don't guarantee or preclude a player from being good or bad, but over time recruiting players with more stars will be better.
If you give me a 20 sided die, and you get a 6 sided one we can roll once and you can beat me, but roll 100 times and I'm guaranteed to win.
Neither of those points is really arguable either. Let's leave it at that.
Plus another top 150 guard named Edmond Sumner. To add a player at every position, 3 of which are 4 stars and another in the too 130 is very impressive.

I don't think we're going to be after any more high-schoolers for this class. That sail has shipped.
Oh my god I would pay so much money to watch this kid if he could do half of that in D1 bball.
Because the only ones who are good enough were committed to other schools. Someone like that that has decommitted could renew interest.
Had heard we really liked him. Guessing that is obvious since we offered way back when. Still wonder if he may have come our way if it wouldn't have been for the Vaughn recruitment. But who knows. My guess is Mack will stay at Xavier with a new contract as he is an Xavier grad.
Exactly what I was saying to Cydkar. Sure, in hindsight you can see players that were not appropriately ranked, the few exceptions, but that is not recruiting. Cydkar is one of those stars don't matter, point to an anomaly types. If hindsight was logic, we would all be rich.
