Recruit Lists v2.0

Does Moore know Fred's style? "The pace was very fast," the 6-foot-9 center said. "I'm not used to playing that fast. The slow plays are the best plays."

Yeah - I made mental note of that.

I imagine what our staff likes about Moore is that he can (allegedly) knock down an outside shot, and pass the ball. He sounds like a "skilled big", besides being a mountain of a man....

Monte shot 15-17 with 36 pts, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and a block.

Clayton shot 9-10 (4-5) with 25pts, 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals.

Those stat lines are incredible.

2014 SG MALIK CLEMENTS
ISU intrest though no offer yet.

The Cyclones have been very active with the Madison native and have remained in constant contact.

“I was supposed to go to Ames and make a visit, but other things came up,” Clements said. “I plan to make them one of my first visits this offseason. They just keep telling me work hard, stay focused in school. They talk to me about AAU, our basketball season, my family. They’re just trying to establish a relationship.”

Not much on him. Seems to have some skills though.

He doesn't really look like he's 6'-3", does he?

Regardless, he was named to the Big8 Conf (South Central Wisconsin, Division 1 schools) All-Conference 1st team with Nick Fuller (Nebraska signee) and Nick Noskowiak. From following his play this past season, he could have huge scoring nights (37 pts one night), but also be very inconsistent. Intriguing prospect because he has some high major interest with Marquette, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas Tech, Creighton, VCU, etc. involved. Will be interesting to see how his summer AAU season goes.

Remember the Emmanuel Malou kid from ABCD Prep that we were mentioned with before? He even came to some games. Well anyways, ABCD Prep just tweeted that he's declaring for the 2013 NBA draft.

Is he declaring without an agent just to test the waters? Maybe ISU is his contingency plan. Or can players still do that, declare without an agent, and come back if they don't go?

Pretty sure they changed the rules so that if you declare, agent or no, you're done. Take your chances, or GTFO.

Looks ISU has intrest another Point Guard for 2014.
Lamonte Bearden – 2014 – PG – Wisconsin Swing
6-1 – Germantown HS – Germantown, WI

Bearden did just about whatever he wanted with the ball in his hands Friday. The 6-1 guard could not be stopped going to the rim. Bearden was very good in transition and did a nice job setting up his teammates.

Lamonte Bearden has an offer from North Dakota State. Bradley, Creighton, Iowa, Iowa State, Michigan State, North Carolina State, and Richmond are showing interest.

I found a short video on him... looks pretty smooth with the ball and can definetly pass.
Lamonte Bearden - Class of 2014 PG - Whiz Kids MIXTAPE - YouTube

also a quick burb on Nick Noskowiak in the link
Nick Noskowiak 2015 PG – Wisconsin Playground Warriors
6-3 – Sun Prairie HS – Sun Prairie, WI

Noskowiak was a tough cover as the 6-3 guard was scoring from every area on the floor. The sophomore had two double digit scoring games, while making some very smart basketball plays.

Good find. Considering the video is likely of play from last summer (prior to being a junior), Bearden is deft with the ball and quick. If he has grown some and continued to develop, I can see why some major college programs are going to offer him.

Noskowiak is going to be a good one. It may have already been posted, but he picked up a Creighton offer last week.

I saw some hype about Bearden, and was waiting to find out if ISU was/ is sniffing around. We've had a lot of interest with PGs, and with Morris/ Custer coming in, I'm wondering if we'll take another until '15. Of course if they can shoot, they don't have to play PG...

Point guards in high school are a lot like quarterbacks in high school. Typically the best athlete. I like seeing so many pg recruits.

any word on if we are still recruiting Kevin Zabo? He looked like a great guard...know we have Custer, but Zabo has been seen as a combo as well.
