That was Jaylen Johnson the super talented 2014 big. This is Jarvis Johnson the super talented 2015 PG :smile:. I don't think Jaylen has relation at ISU.
Didn't hear any rumors... That fact that there is now a rumor of a rumor worries me.
I know this is a ways off, but saw a tweet how 2016 Amir Coffey, 6'5" guard from MN was drawing interest from some schools and that a Dr. told him he'd grow to 6' 9". Whether a doctor can totally predict that, I don't know. But my point for bringing it up was that after I searched his name, sure enough....who has already offered? Yep, Fred already has. In fact, on one of the sites, we were his only offer. Fred knows his Minn. talent. Can't he just commit now? Forget those other guys. lol
I know Jarvis is the brother of one of the new lady Cyclones , but does anyone remember...is he the player that had a heart issue when he was younger, thus somewhat a connection to Fred in that respect? Or am I thinking of somebody else? Seems like he's been playing well this summer, too.
If you have X-rays taken of your ankles, you can be given a good estimate on how tall you'll be. IIRC they are called plates. Given how many there or how far apart they are can tell a doctor how tall you'll be.
Hines tweeted that his Minnesota plans to offer him.... He also tweeted that his father played for Minnesota. Definitely doesn't help us.
Well hopefully Fred can sell him on the fact that he has the same condition with his heart. Also, It would be nice for the sister to be a little homesick but like ISU. That way she can talk him into coming down and doing it together.
So, after reading that article, does our staff bring the religion part into recruiting him at all? Sorry for asking, but I'm not aware if ISU has a muslim presence on campus, in community, etc. Was just curious because of the article's mention of it.
There is a mosque just off Ontario near campus. We're just like any other international university, there are quite a few muslims in Ames, but it's far from a majority.
Isn't Abdel Nader muslim? He's from Egypt. Just a thought. Could help with Abu.

Looks like, according to scout.com, Jaylen Johnson has become a main target for Louisville and 2015 6'9" center Cheick Diallo is being targeted by some big time blue bloods like Kansas and UNC among others.
