Good question. The good news is that he's willing to support Bridges visit here, so there's that. But weren't there a couple recruitable sons "attached" last time and that's why things fell apart? Idk, tho, just going by message board chatter. Hope Monte has some pull. Of course, these recruits know players practically on most all places they visit.

The well-attended weekend is just the start of what figures to be a hectic fall for ISU. Starting Tuesday, coaching staffs are able to go visit prospects across the country. The Cyclones will spend that first day with Amir Coffey (2016, MN) and Chris Clarke (2015, VA) while stopping in with Cheick Diallo (2015, NY) and Bridges in the early part of the week as well, according to a source.
If we landed 1 or 2 out of Coffey, Bridges, Diallo and Clarke I would be a happy man

Hopefully we stay in it long enough so they can see what us cyclone fans are all about

Did Darien Williams already have shoulder surgery? I thought he moved to CA?
Williams is at a community college in California and is redshirting this year. When he comes to ISU next year he will be a redshirt sophomore. I am not sure if he has had his surgery yet or not but I assume someone (CF, Ames Trib, AllCyclones) will have a recruiting update for us after his visit this weekend.
Roy boy liked white guys with skinny arms that could run all day and that came from good, wholesome, two parent homes. Those seemed to be the bulk of his players.
Bball recruits usually leave at halftime to go see the rest. We need two good quarters this week instead of one.
