Really good seats left in Carver

In my experience, at Carver you don't have to worry about thrown beer cans, aggressive fan behavior, your personal physical safety. Its not Kinnick.

But you will be trapped in the parking lot trying to leave for 3 hours. What a disaster that is.

Caveat- haven't been there since the Prohm unfathomable loss in 2016. Monte, Deonte, Matty Ice, Naz... and got drilled by an Iowa team that ended up 19-15 overall. In retrospect, a sign of bad things to come with CSP.

I got midcourt, halfway up for about $60 per.

You can get in the door for $32 rn.

More Cyclone butts-in-seats would be a good thing if you got Thursday night open! It's probably cheaper than any Big 12 games in Hilton are gonna be lol.
Wish i could make it. Great point on the cost vs Hilton actually.

Would be awesome if our fans showed up and could do some "cyclone....power" to be heard on tv.

I HOPE the lack of interest is partially because it SHOULD be a game where ISU shows up...plays average and it's never in question.

Depends on the sport. Wrestling can be a bit risky with Iowa fans

Seats may be available, but if they were truly "Really Good" seats, they'd be in Hilton.

In Carver there are only three tiers of seats: Elderly handsitters Courtside, off-campus student nosebleeds, and random spots where you are unable to watch the Hawkeyes play. That last category is the only one they can sell at a premium.

In my experience, going to a basketball game is a quite a bit different experience than either football or wrestling. Sure it’s a rivalry game, but not much different than if you went to a game at Kansas or K-State. A high percentage of the problems at the football games (in either city) is because you’re in proximity to someone who is drunk and the issues you’ll have at an Iowa wresting meet is because you’re in proximity to a lunatic.

Since Hoiberg's/Fran's first season (2011), I think the away team has only won this game 3 times (ISU twice and Iowa once). Crazy stat.

Common theme for Iowa State losing this game is Iowa hitting three's early and jumping out to an early sizeable lead.

Attended in 2016 and 2018. After that not brave enough to go back. Usually just a lose lose going there. Was there also in 2014 though, which was awesome.

2010 was Hoiberg's first year and he must hsve won in IC.
2014 we blasted them 90–75. It gave birth to one of the mount Rushmore Iowa State gifs.
