Is streaming just shitting the bed everywhere?

Depending on the months the data was from, gotta believe the time of year has to do with it.

No major sports during the summer, that are streamed on ESPN+. Plus a lot of people cut back on TV in the summer. I know of people that cut TV all together, for a few reasons, forcing them to get out and do things, and because they are always out doing things, no time for TV in the Summer.

All of these streamers are going to have dips when high demand content is not showing regularly.

There are probably other factors too, but I would guess that is part of it.

Edit: I guess its from April to July, which would coincide with the above reasons.

They've had some MLB games on this summer, but hardly enough to make it a value if you only follow a particular team.

A few thoughts about non conference games:

NON-CON GAMES
Considering all of the new schools in the conference, we would not need any non-conference games in the near future, as games between the old and new schools will all be fresh as we get to know each other. New stadiums and crowds, playing styles, excitement. if we continue to play 3 non-conference games each year it could take forever to play each of the new schools. At a maximum we should hold the non-conference games to one, to allow one non-con rivalry game.

The conference will include 4 from the PAC10, 4 from the earlier additions, together with the 8 remaining Big 12 teams. If each of the remaining teams play all of the new teams, that is eight games before we get back to playing each other. If you keep three non-con games it will take two years before the new conference will have played a full round of all our teams.

OuT FOR THE LAST TIME
I think that in honor☠️ of their last year in the conference, Oklahoma and Texas should be required to play all of the eight remaining Big 12 teams, and not each other, and none of our new conference teams.

NOT DONE YET ?
On a final note, I also don't think that Commissioner Yormark is done yet. We could still become a 20-team conference before he is done working his magic.

Why is the ACC interested in SMU, Cal, and Stanford?
That's insane.

This is a funny take on the ACC adding Cal, Stanford and SMU.

SMU included free with purchase of two Pac-12 schools

Why would it take so long to play all the teams? With 16 it should be every other year with 9 conference games.

I know everyone hates pods, but if you have 4 pods of 4, you play everyone in your pod, 2 teams each of the other pods, rotating every year. You then play everyone in 2 years. If you rotate every other year, you play everyone each 4 years.

I know I know pods suck, but do they? Protected rivalries are fine too, but if you look at it, ISU might be better of scheduling wise if we do 4 pods. I just havent seen in a 16 team conference quite how protected rivalries is better and easier than pods. Outside of 16, Yes, Protected rivalries are for sure better, but with 16 not so much.

Now if we end up going to 10 game schedule that changes things, too.
