Cable and satellite would murder their first borns to only lose 100k subs in two months
They've had some MLB games on this summer, but hardly enough to make it a value if you only follow a particular team.Depending on the months the data was from, gotta believe the time of year has to do with it.
No major sports during the summer, that are streamed on ESPN+. Plus a lot of people cut back on TV in the summer. I know of people that cut TV all together, for a few reasons, forcing them to get out and do things, and because they are always out doing things, no time for TV in the Summer.
All of these streamers are going to have dips when high demand content is not showing regularly.
There are probably other factors too, but I would guess that is part of it.
Edit: I guess its from April to July, which would coincide with the above reasons.

Very likely. A more valid comparison would be 2023 Q2 vs 2022 Q2Seasonal subscription drop?
Any fan base that has as much hatred of Texa$ as they do can’t be 100% bad.We owe a great deal of thanks to those fake army, dog worshipping, Mason jar filling, bonfire burning SOBs.
This is a funny take on the ACC adding Cal, Stanford and SMU.Why is the ACC interested in SMU, Cal, and Stanford?
That's insane.

ACC Considering Adding SMU With Cal, Stanford: Report
The effects of the most recent wave of conference realignment have been cataclysmic, to say the least, as it ultimately culminated in the death of the Pac-12 conference last week. In the aftermath of such monumental changes to the college landscape, we are still seeing teams try to best position...www.heartlandcollegesports.com
Why would it take so long to play all the teams? With 16 it should be every other year with 9 conference games.A few thoughts about non conference games:
NON-CON GAMES
Considering all of the new schools in the conference, we would not need any non-conference games in the near future, as games between the old and new schools will all be fresh as we get to know each other. New stadiums and crowds, playing styles, excitement. if we continue to play 3 non-conference games each year it could take forever to play each of the new schools. At a maximum we should hold the non-conference games to one, to allow one non-con rivalry game.
The conference will include 4 from the PAC10, 4 from the earlier additions, together with the 8 remaining Big 12 teams. If each of the remaining teams play all of the new teams, that is eight games before we get back to playing each other. If you keep three non-con games it will take two years before the new conference will have played a full round of all our teams.
OuT FOR THE LAST TIME
I think that in honorof their last year in the conference, Oklahoma and Texas should be required to play all of the eight remaining Big 12 teams, and not each other, and none of our new conference teams.
NOT DONE YET ?
On a final note, I also don't think that Commissioner Yormark is done yet. We could still become a 20-team conference before he is done working his magic.
same here. Will be getting it back at the end of the month.I dropped mine after the season. I'm guessing it's seasonal
