I didn't think Stewie could get more insufferable

I'm just reading this stuff remembering his breathless reporting about how the Big 12 leftovers were going to be absorbed by the AAC and realizing I could not care less about his emotional journey from here!
He's an insufferable, miserable ass. He deserves all of the ridicule he receives.
Funny he didn’t bring up that Houston and Cincy had been relegated in the past and fought their way back.
Since I actually worked this week, which apparently no one else did, (jimlad) I must admit, I skipped ahead probably 50 pages and I am still losing ground.

And if he had done so if/when ISU, K-State, and others ended up relegated had the Pac 12 been smart he would have openly cheered it as "survival of the fittest".

The ESPN coverage on this is a joke. Apparently the Big12 is getting “close” to the ACC for third best conference and, of course, the Pac12 situation is the Big12s fault.
If BBall becomes a revenue driving thing, we could get raided more as people would leave for the combined revenue of both sports for the Big 10 and SEC instead of staying in the B12 with mediocre FB money and maybe good BBall money.
I'm going out on a limb and predicting ASU being a bad add in the end. ASU can go f*** themselves...

Agree that they didn’t really want to expand, but it’s more than money talking. They are afraid that the 12 team playoff could expose them. SEC teams could sweep the Big Ten—and even worse for their psyche—they risk humiliation against the TCU’s of the world. The exclusivity of the BCS and four-team playoff formats protected them from too much embarrassment, but in the new format where the Big Ten will have the second most teams in the playoff, their brand is on the line. They were and are desperate to add actual football power and recruiting territory to their footprint so that the country doesn’t realize we have a Power 1.

I really wish BY had made an example out of Crow and ASU and pulled the offer, and made known their snobbery and attitude was why the offer was pulled. Then let their own fanbase pick them apart.

A lot of ASU fans don’t want him around. And they don’t think Crow should be allowed anywhere near athletics.
