Since when do you control conversation on a message board? This isn't the DMR, it's a platform to discuss topics, if you have no interest, don't read. For me message boards are the modern version of the corner bar, where people bull-$hit on any and all topics!

East Coast realignment is a valid conversation based on Double Fries straw man for ACC dissolution You might not agree with the Vlog or maybe you think the ACC is going to be around until 2036, but money is usually a pretty big motivation for change. I agree with SE Clone, the only reason Rutgers is a P5 school is the BTN revenue model. There is no way the other P4 conferences would have added Rutgers.

IMO (yes my opinion) Syracuse would be a great choice in a 20 team Big12 once CFB moves to 3 Power Conferences. Look back, ACC expansion in 2013- the ACC adds were ND, Pitt and Syracuse. Louisville was added when Maryland decided to leave a year later. I also feel Louisville's athletic department has a history of being a bit sketchy.

20 Team Big 12

East Coast Division
WVU, Syracuse, Pitt, NCST, Va Tech

Midwest Division
ISU, KU, KSU, OSU, Cincy

Southern Division
UCF, Houston, Baylor, TT, TCU

West Division
Arizona, Arizona, Utah, BYU, CU

I would like Louisville in the Big12, but that would probably mean a 24 team Big12.
The best advice for Louisville would be to use whatever time the ACC has left to clean up their athletic department. Woof. A bit sketchy is an understatement. Pitino and Patrino were symptoms, but not the disease.

I love the big 12 tourney, its the best out there. but this is mostly marketing BS.

It's marketing, but I wouldn't say BS.

This conference has been marginalized over and over.

Change the narrative.
Highest grossing basketball championship.

Expansion predator.
In the CFP championship.
Best basketball league.

Rock solid and thriving. A top level college athletic conference.

This type of BS is what the Big 12 has needed for decades

Highest grossing B12 championship in history, not the highest of all conferences.

Is this good for a truck stop conference?

Below is part of the tweet. What was ISU's food? I saw an announcers mention their favorite food during a game, Sounds like Iowa State is going to need to upgrade its food game!!!

Levy Restaurants and the Big 12 Conference sold over 5,200 #Big12Eats dishes. Big Jay's Loaded Mac & Cheese – the specialty item designated for Kansas Jayhawks fans – was the best-selling #Big12Eats dish, with the Longhorn Quesadilla finishing second and the TCU Loaded Tots placing third.

What we know:

Yormark sees the Big 12's best asset as men's basketball. He wants to leverage that asset to get as much money as possible and differentiate us from the "Big 2."

What better way to do that than add as much as you can to the Big 12 tournament and then brag about the results ad nauseum?

It's brilliant in it's simplicity and I think it will work.

I wouldn't say best assest, maybe the asset the most under utilized, or highest amount room to grow.

I look at is as our best asset as it allows us to differentiate from the Big 2. We aren't competing against them in football, but we can kick their *** in basketball.

So it's marketing BS...

What? You are bent because a hot dog will cost more at the tournament?

What is your point? The league had a wildly successful basketball season and tournament. This coming right behind a great football season.

This conference and Yormark should shout it from the rooftops. Tried to kill us? Left us for dead? **** you. This is what the league accomplished. We're top tier.

But please continue to complain because a hot dog will cost more.
