Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

Wonder if there’s some stuff behind the scenes like Oregon demanding unequal revenue sharing while the corner schools say “OK, we’ll just dip out then.”

I think they are all big enough to be takes. The Utah BYU, Arizona Arizona State, Colorado Utah, Colorado former Big8 rivalries will be nice additions.

Plus Utah has kind of emerged as the team everyone in the current Big12 just wants to beat the **** out of based on their Twitter fan base, so that’s fun too.
Everyone bit**ing about UU fans, has made them more of a take this week for me. Every conference needs the hated school, or villain.

That’s obviously on the table. But there’s a few other obstacles. Yormark isn’t officially Big12 commissioner until the 1st. ESPN and Fox have exclusive negotiating rights until the 4th(?) with the PAC. They are likely going to hear every offer first, and wait for the new commissioner to accept them even if he is working off the clock before starting. It might be mid august before anything is decided, even if Arizona and Colorado are already leaning Big12. It’s a big choice and they will do their due diligence. It changes nothing if they applied a month ago or a month from now. They would still join the same year either way.

Does every other school hate them or just us? I feel like is just an Iowa State thing to hate Baylor as much as we do.
There’s been multiple Twitter polls not started by ISU folks that support that BU is universally disliked. It’s definitely not just us.

Denver Media is doing us some favor here

Keeler: Get out, CU. If the Big 12 offers Buffs lifeline out of lying, dying Pac-12, they’d be crazy not to take it.

"If push came to shove, in six years, Buffs fans, would you rather be in a league with San Diego State, Boise State and Fresno State? Or in a conference with Iowa State, Kansas State, West Virginia and Cincinnati?"

Is that the same Sean Keeler who used to write for the Des Moines Register?
