I think if this everytime I go on another boardI have yet to find any message board for a college that is as good as CF.
CF is so far beyond what some of those generic Rival and 247 boards are.

Speaking of which, did we finally kick out the sqawks? They have been noticeably absent from this the las couple days. One of my favorite posts was from a North Carolina board. He favored going to the Big 10 and then said that Ohio State and Penn State would be tough, but listed the easy victories in football and he put EIU in the same category with Rutgers and Maryland.
I wouldn’t be shocked at all. I’m not sure they’ve wanted to play all that much since 2020.Another wouldn't be surprised if Stanford (and Cal, for that matter) drop football.
Until they find out they can go to another conference with equal revenue and get the same or more than their cut of the B1G.I disagree.... if the non Buckeye schools are still getting 20-30% more than those in the B12 .... Why would they leave? They wouldn't.
The OU/WA $30M figure and $100M Big10 payout per school are apples/oranges.Just how much money do these B10 schools need? Last time it was you had brought in 50 million, now its 110 million?
That is the EIU fan base talking, the fact is Ohio State, Penn. State and Michigan will decide who gets in and who doesn't, because they are the money makers for the conference. If the other schools do not want to play ball and go along with it, then those schools and a few others will leave and start this true college football super conference.
The Iowa's, Illinois', Mich. States of the conference knew they have a sweet deal, and are not going to give that up because Oregon or Washington are only going to bring in 30 million, so the cut for each school now is 100 million. They will take the lesser payout and whistle all the way to the bank. Because they all know that 90 years ago they joined a conference that hit the lotto, and they could have just as easily picked the B12 or the ACC and ended up like Kansas State and Iowa State.
Oh. I hope so.Speaking of which, did we finally kick out the sqawks? They have been noticeably absent from this the las couple days.
I also think its relative. Meaning, I think those schools are only worth 30M each to the Pac, which I think might be a bit low, but no more than 40.The OU/WA $30M figure and $100M Big10 payout per school are apples/oranges.
The $100M people keep talking about is basically the mid-point in the Big10's NEW CONTRACT. Aka 2028/2029.
Fox paid the BIG10 schools something like $54M this year. No way the FOX Big10 deal has become that much more lucrative since the Big10 renewed it's deal 6 years ago. USC & UCLA are nice adds, but that incremental money gets spread out over 14 existing Big10 schools.
Another good post from the Stanford boards. "I'm sure a USC alum is going to enjoy trading his yearly trip to Arizona to see rolled oats in Iowa City."
Plus what really adds the value are the quality of contests.I also think its relative. Meaning, I think those schools are only worth 30M each to the Pac, which I think might be a bit low, but no more than 40.
But what they are worth in the B1G is totally different. You cant take what they are worth to the Pac, In the Pac, on the west coast, playing the west coast, etc as the figure for other conferences. While I dont think they are worth 100M each in the B1G, (I dont think too many in the B1G are, and have a hard time believing USC is at this point) But they are probably worth at least double each in the B1G, if not a bit more.
Simply from being in the better conference, the better media deal, the better media exposure, being 1 less Power conference, etc. Their value would increase immediately.
Same with what they are worth in the Big 12, although not to the level of the B1G. My felling is they are probably worth 30 in the Pac, 50 in the Big 12, and 70 in the B1G, Just because of the affiliation and what it would do to the landscape of CFB.
So Californians dont know the difference between Oats and this?

Yep. I think they know the difference at UC-Davis!Keep in mind we are talking Stanford.
Depends on what factory you are next to. Used to work there, and when working by Gen Mills it smelled like fruit snacks. When by Quaker Oats it smelled like fruit loops.Cedar Rapids doesn't smell like corn.
And who can forget the year they stole a natty with the fifth down.Well,we miss that crazy buffalo routine and players like Cliff Branch. Folsom Field snowballs, anyone?

The smell significantly went south went you were talking areas around Cargill or ADM and others.
Then there is Clinton, week old dead animals smell better than that place.
Arizona State board seems to be stuck on a merger that excludes ISU, Kansas, and Kansas state but includes all the new Big12 additions, Cal and Stanford.
