Getting rid of that AAU status is going to kill Iowa State isn't it?
Doesn't sound like we were ever going to get an invite. If we get the two Arizona schools, Colorado and Utah, that league will be a ton of fun to watch and will likely be the 3rd best conference. Now there'd be quite a gap between the Big 12 and Big 10 and then the SEC, but at least we aren't the Pac 12.

Why would the B12 want to merge with the remaining Pac 12 teams, when they can just offer the teams they want, and forget about the rest?

No one is going to be kicked out of the B12, when was the last time a school was forced out of a conference, it's been forever. Now is the time for the B12 to show its strength and go after the best remaining schools in the Pac 12 to strengthen the B12 not weaken the league.

This move by the B10 has allowed an opportunity for the B12 to grab 4 to 6 teams, making a stronger league, and destroy the Pac 12, we need to jump on this opportunity and grab Oregon and Washington before the B10 Slow plays them into waiting for a B10 offer that may or may not be there in the future. While also picking over the rest of the league for Colorado and Stanford. If Oregon and Washington want to wait, then you grab Utah and one of the Arizonia schools.

Gotta think that the BIG and SEC are on the race to 20 team conferences. You still have Wash, Oregon, Clem, FSU, Miami, 1 other from the ACC/PAC that would bring them to that number. Me thinks that USC and UCLA got a sneak peek at the new media deal and it didn't please them...$30M in the PAC or $60-$80M in the BIG. No. Brainer.
