BY has us well positioned. Big 12 does not need to panic. We have a good contract with good visibility. We have stability and commitment within our 13 teams. PAC 12 has none of those. Remember that many stayed on the Titanic and went down because they arrogantly thought the Titanic was unsinkable. They refused to get in the lifeboats. History repeats.

Zero chance they are meeting with the intent to sign a GOR. 8 hours ago, a minimum of three teams were looking to leave. You don't just come up with a GOR and a meeting in 6 hours.
Don't believe any tweet from John. He will take any news and spin it to make it sound positive for the Pac 12. John simply is not a reliable/credible source

Holy ****

If this is true and they stay together, we all know unequal revenue sharing is the sure fire way to keep a conference together (insert sarcasm). Everyone knows Washington and Oregon are going to call the shots either way, but this is publicly admitting those two schools own your ass and will be their ***** as long as they want to stick around.

No. Rework the schedule. Taking ****** Uconn because 'the schedule doesn't work' is as dumb as it gets.
Get creative. Make a few games between conference members official “non-con” games. Go to eight official conference games and throw in a few of those. It can be done, think outside the box. Even if they’re officially “non-con” games, it’s still TV inventory.

If the PAC is insisting on holding together - which still baffles me, I don’t see how UW/UO sign a GOR, and I don’t see how AZ/ASU/Utah possibly trust them at all - then I guess UConn isn’t a disaster of an add. It’s not good, at all - it’s only going to dilute the football media money, even at a reduced share - but if we can’t kneecap the PAC this time, then we can’t.

I‘d rather stay at 13 and work out the schedule, leave those potential spots open for down the road (because things are gonna break up in the next 5-8 years, I betcha).

Jesus, if they actually sign a GOR today, after everything else going on...oof, They all deserve to fall into obscurity.

I thought the PAC was full of smart people...guess not.
Feels like a bunch of stubborn, egotistical old men refusing to make the hard decision to taint their legacy or some sh*t, and subsequently leaving a giant ass mess for whoever takes over for them.
