I wish I was going somewhere. My wife is going to Vegas from tomorrow to Friday for school orientation. I get to hang out with the kids for the rest of the week.
Yeah, my wife got accepted into the Nursing Education PhD program at UNLV. So she is leaving tomorrow morning and doing orientation the rest of the week. Her sister and niece are also going with her, so I'm sure she'll do more than just school related work.

Tell her sister I said "sup" and assuming the niece is over 21 since she's going to Vegas, tell her too

Something about this years weather and conditions have made it the perfect season for magnolia scale. Magnolia scale are gross nasty icky little pests that can cover your tree. Arborist is going to give them a spray shot for Safari tomorrow after the Safari soil systemic didn't do the job. He's says they creep him out which I thought was kinda funny.
Nothing blooming there so no little bees or butterflies will be hurt.

Well, my sister in law is also abandoning her husband and kids for the week, so there's that.
Just check the wife’s wallet when she gets home, if it’s packed with GWs, you will understand the business trip.
Got no problem with the misses making it that way, if it means I can work less, more power to her is my opinion.
Daughter's knee potentially worse than we thought. MRI tonight with results sometime between Wednesday and April. She's taking it pretty well but I don't think she has realized that a bad result means she can't lead her school team to a defense of their conference championship this fall.

If it ends up really badly... My only advice is to somehow convince her that walking for the rest of her life is better than any sport or match.
I tore my MCL a couple times in HS wrestling and it took a lot of convincing from my Dad, doctor, and coach not to go back out there. It was the only sport I was good at and I was absolutely crushed for a long time over it. But looking back I know I made the right decision.
