I just had the weirdest 20 minutes.
At the bank depositing a check and go to take off my ring because I keep checking that my fingers haven't swelled. Rings come apart in my hand as the person is like hello can I help. I had notice the soldering job was ****** previously so I'm not surprised. Decide welp, let's go to the local jeweler down the street and see if I can get this taken care of. Good time since I've been leaving them off more often now. They can but might be two weeks cause jeweler will be on vacation. You don't charge if we can't come pick them up right away, do you? No? Good deal. Phone rings while I'm doing this and I ignore. Get back to car and see it's my credit card asking if I purchased a $900 flight from Spain today. Unless DH is getting some really cold feet on this fatherhood thing, I don't think so.
So I get to call and deal with that. Sucks because I've had that number for like 10 years and it's the autopay card for like all our utilities. And basically everything cause it gets the best % back. So I'm like send me the new one ASAP and now I need to make a list of all the places to change that number. Cause that'd be great that we'd forget like, the electric bill and then no AC next month. So that's fun.
Get home and grab the mail, still talking to credit card and see that DH has a jury summons for a few weeks from now when we'll certainly have a newborn and he's scheduled to be on FMLA. Does FMLA count as an excuse???? Who knows if he'd actually be called in or not but I'll tell you what, I don't love the idea that a whole damn week of his limited time off with us is spent on jury duty!
So yeah, that was an extremely random set of events since 5pm.

Figured I at least kept the tests but not finding them. Looks like one of my purges I reduced it to mostly stuff related to my major.

FYI speaking from experience. They don't shut off your electricity right away if you forget to pay. MrsWx got called for jury duty the week after she was scheduled to be induced. That was easy to get out of.
DH said the same, they won't cut the electricity immediately. I don't feel like tempting it though. Oh and then I went into the account to verify nothing else fishy was there and it's like hey we can see you have a new card, want the number to use online? Sure! Send me the text to confirm it's me. Six tries and a second confirmation code later, I'm locked out of the account. I have no frigging clue why it kept saying the code was invalid. I can type six numbers correctly at least 1 out of six times. So then I call and they can't do anything but wait 24 hours. They think. With that confidence I did go back and try to reset password which the email saying account is locked said I could do. It didn't like me doing that and said account was deactivated. So it's possible I made things worse. New card supposed to be here tomorrow so I guess I'll see what happens. Oh, and I had placed a large Amazon order finishing off registry stuff and I see that's been charging as stuff ships. Not everything has shipped so I wonder what will happen to that stuff.
OH, and I was thawing something in the sink and went to pull the plug and managed to flip it 180 to land upside down in the drain, nice and stuck. It took an hour but after it slowly drained I did get it back out. I should have quit while I was behind. And since I've been having Braxton Hicks all day I'll probably go into labor tonight or something.
We've met more neighbors and people since we got Sadie than the first 4 or 5 months we lived here.
Why do people about my age look so goddamn old?
Does the hospital give out free warm cookies in the afternoon? If so we have been looking for something to do on Saturday for our anniversary. MrsWx likes babies and I like cookies!
