I'm spending lunch with help desk. I can not insert PDFs into Excel.
Probably better than cowgirl hanging out under the lunchroom table eyeing the fridge for anyone who touches the cake.

Just make sure the cake wasn't brought in by another pregnant lady.This. Slice off as big a slab as you want, and if someone asks you about it, give them a murderous look that I know you're totally capable of. No one wants to piss off the pregnant lady.
I'd hire you even if you might not stay. Anything to spend more precious time with @CycloneErik.Looking at the ad, I'm pretty sure my seminary degree gets me through the required qualifications:

I have more than 2 years of college teaching, and I done good. I've got all of their preferred ones, but my PhD is in something else.
At the same time, I have a real solid background in this stuff and I fit an unspoken qualification that I'm right here already.
I could see them looking at my PhD in a different discipline and concerned that I might not stay, but I think they're only offering this year anyway, so it may be ideal for all parties.

Is this something that you could reach out to the department head or something like that in addition to the actual application or is that frowned upon? For internal positions that was some of the best advice I have received.
Mrs. JCyclonee's pneumonia seems to be improving. She joined us for grilling out at the neighbor's last night and didn't cough.
Speaking of cake, my youngest daughter baked this cake for yesterday. Notice the neighbor boy's expression on the left.

I think I'm ok here. He's about half the size of her.Is he wowing at the cake or your daughter? You may need to be threatening him to stay away.
Welp, we're back from Colorado, today is my first day back to work.
God, I love Colorado. Other than the first seven years of my life (Mississippi and Utah) I've lived in the Midwest my entire life. Mountains. Holy Hell. Mountains. And no mosquitoes! I didn't want to drive back home.
As far as the Sparkler Junior 14U Open Division goes: Daughter played very well, but team was up and down. Won our first three games (teams were bad though), lost our last three games. 3-1 in pool play, placed into the Gold tournament bracket, lost our first two bracket games. Coaches pitched someone else the first game for some reason, and we got crushed 11-1 by a Texas Glory team.
DD pitched the second game, which we lost 2-1 to a Utah Fastpitch team. DD went 2-for-3 that game. Unfortunately, our team couldn't hit-- we had 11 strikeouts. And their pitcher wasn't nearly as good as DD. Sadly, I think we've gone about as far as we can go with this team. I love the girls, I love the parents, but their goals aren't the same as DD's. You could see the attitudes got worse the longer the week went on. When we got to the last bracket game, the team was lifeless, you could tell they didn't want to be there.
Got back home this week and already lined up two tryouts to programs that are playing better competition (both programs get berths in the Boulder IDT tournament, and have won bids to Huntington Beach PGF Premier nationals-- this is the very best competition, where most girls are signing with Power 5 softball programs). First team offered her on the spot Tuesday night. Second tryout is tonight, we'll see how shes does.
Microsoft would automatically reformat that into some formula and then issue a message that it's an invalid formula. You just have to type it into one of the cells and hit enter or tab. Here's an example

Thanks! Staying with the Blitz then? It's a good program, from all I can tell, so it sounds like a good decision. Was going to ask how CO went. We knew girls playing 16U out there, not sure how they ended up.
One of our club tryout dates was rained out, the next date was after DSM got 6-10” of rain. Pretty much guaranteed a spot as a returning member, but we just want the local option (the team you don’t need to buy airline tickets to play) since she really has no desire to play behind HS at the moment. The club was just going to put together a team to play 16U at Huntington Beach PGF. We opted not to do that, but said we would be interested in the 15U World Series team they want to do. They were light on catchers at tryouts, she said she had to warm up about 5-6 pitchers. Good luck finding a new team!!
I read the catalog course description and his approach is similar but different.
I wouldn't have thought to delineate geographically, and I probably wouldn't do it just for a different focus.
I see Dr. Northway's syllabus from last fall on coursehero, but I'm not paying them for that.

I think I generally kept the syllabus from classes but not 100% sure. I did take 210 with him - actually DH did as well and I could see him keeping that. If you don't get what you need by tonight and a syllabus from 2009 is good enough, send me a message to remind me to go look in our boxes. I just moved a bunch of college stuff so I know approximately where it should be if we have it.
Yep! During the Colorado trip, I intentionally cut myself off from Internet technology.
(Well, except for Google Maps. I never would have found her fields without it!)
