Long line to the mens room, very little to no line in the womens room, many men 50+ who havent gone to the bathroom for an hour or more
Okay. Thought you were making fun of my response. :)

Edit: It wouldn't work for a public venue like Hilton or Jack Trice or your bank, but a tractor drive? Cornfields are certainly more convenient for men than women. ;)

Have seen this before but I got yelled at by the friends of pee-er. "Hey, ladies, I'm not the one in the wrong place in this situation." Apparently they expected no males should use the other empty urinals in the men's room while their friend was occupying a urinal.

As bad as that is, I don't think it is appropriate for a "journalist" to post that picture of someone in the restroom.

It’s pretty generous to call the Daily Snark journalism.

Suppose I should just get used to going to Beloit being a pain in the ass with all the road construction. 3+ years to go yet. It's just in the beginning stages and it's already a cluster. I-43 is down to one lane on each side, so there is a yield sign on the ramp from I-90, which means that drivers on the ramp are supposed to yield to I-43 traffic, right? Wrong. Everyone coming off 90 expects everyone on 43 to yield to them.

I take the long way around now, but will have to take the even longer way around eventually.

No short cuts through junk yards.

There was one mildly interesting thing on the drive home yesterday, Highway Patrol long played a speeder on 35S. I was passing a car and this little silver car comes up fast right behind me, I finish my pass and let him go by 2 cars behind him is a highway patrol SUV, I thought he was going to light him up. Instead he let him get thru all the traffic and out into the open then pulled him over close to 20 mile down the road. I'm guessing he was doing at least 85 when he got pulled over. Pretty sneaky of the HP.

Oh heck yeah, I-94 between Madtown and MKE was like that for a long time, too. Better now.

If its time to close this, its time to bounce the Iowa recruiting thread with 22k posts.

BTW: Everyone make sure to vote today if you haven't voted already. If you don't vote, you have no right to complain about who you have repping you. Make the effort folks!
They probably want to keep that one open as long as possible to keep it from spreading. We’re a good group, so they don’t mind making us make new threads!

And completely agree on voting. Go vote, guys! Was number 41 at my polling place at 7:30 this morning and lots of people registering to vote.

Those corn leaves would hurt.

Highway Patrol = professional law enforcement (generally)
City and County Cops = adult playground bullies (generally)

Going to listen to some of the local debates today. Not sure where to vote. It will be at one of two places and it's a small town so it won't be hard to find.

Voted this morning, probably around #60. Used my voter registration card as ID and it really threw the election guy for a loop. It's a valid form of ID, but the bar code wouldn't scan. After a while he asked if I was still at the address on the card - yep, haven't moved since I got it -- and then asked if I had a driver license or -and then started naming off the other items on the list with photos. I said "I don't need a driver license for this and he said it's required. I said, "No, it's not required this year. Then he called over the election official in charge and she told him it's a valid ID. She also said some of the bar codes were cut off and I told her mine was not. When I said I had been waiting for my new voter ID card, she said that she was waiting for hers, too. And another worker then piped up that you have a driver license, you won't get a new voter ID card.
Regardless, I was good, as was my ID. Told them I wanted to try using my voter reg card because it's listed as a valid form of ID. Thank goodness for people who know what they're doing at the polls. BTW, the guy I "worked with" was younger than me, and the woman in charge was older than me. Age has no bearing on understanding requirements.

If you haven't voted, please do!

My polling place doesn't open until 8am so I have to wait until I go home after work.

The one thing I can't stand about these midterm elections are all the things like MUD board or vote someone for Regents or judges. I don't know any of the judges and haven't stood in front of them and would just assume keep it that way.
Or when you vote on a Proposition that is worded
A yes vote will indicate that you disapprove the acceptance of the new bill that is against the proposition that you are in favor of repealing.

I gave my DL and they seemed startled I actually had it. When everyone welcomes you by name and asks about the HS football season it’s seems odd that I have to verify everything outside my sperm count.

Just got a political ad here for a MN office. A very well endowed woman who has that part of her featured in the ad. Not really what you would expect for that.

Good grief, not surprising but disappointing. I am heading over this morning and it's going to be a lot easier than that.

Looks at weather forecast and realises that it's time to swap the summer slippers for winter boots on das Audi. Fun part is wrestling four tires and rims into the car (back seat flopped down) with two torn rotator cuffs. Kinda hate that part. They work fine for riding bike, drinking wine, eating pie and even raking but the tire toss is a ******* bear.

Rotator cuff not needed for pie.
