Odd occurrence here. Got the mail yesterday and saw an envelope with my wife's cousin and his wife's name as the return address. Looked like a card so I checked the name, it was to my oldest son. Weird address, I thought maybe they mailed it to my wife,s mom since they couldn't find our address. Then I realized it wasn't her address and wasn't even a valid address in town. Thought it was good that it still found him. Nice part of small towns.
I couldn't figure out why they would send him, probably, a birthday card now for the first time and a month late. I texted a picture to the wife and asked if she could figure it out. Before she texted back, I thought of something. The sister of my wife's cousin's wife (everyone from this town originally and the sister was maid of honor in my wife's sister's wedding), named her youngest the same name as our oldest and coincidentally married someone with the same last name spelling just different pronunciation. Wife told me later last night that she texted her cousin and said the card was supposed to go to the wife's nephew.
Now get this, this woman gets a birthday card for her nephew. Fills out the name and address and for some odd reason writes down her old hometown for the town. Card gets delivered to someone in that town who coincidentally has the same name and is related to her husband.
