Got the birth certificate form back and they spelled my name wrong on it. Double checked the copy from the hospital that DH filled out and yes, he knew how to spell his wife's name. So we get to submit that correction along with our order. Decided one short form and one long form should be fine, right? Need that long form in case he ever runs for President ;)

The 13yr old was baptized in the hospital right after she was born. When itmcame time for her 1st Communion we needed a copy of her baptismal certificate. It came from the hospital even though it was done by the Catholic priest. When we got the copy they had me as the baby and her as the mother. Had to have that reissued . . .

So, in short, your son can never be president because of a birth certificate controversy!

Took LittleWx and my dad flying for my dad’s birthday this morning.

Having dinner at their house and we are playing baseball with LittleWx in the backyard. He decides it is my turn to hit. I hit it. It goes ost him and my dad, into the street, gets hit by a truck down the street and goes down a storm drain.

So I will need to buy a new ball.

Do you have a extra? Or just one at a time?

Shout out to @BoxsterCy for picking a great trail for the ride. Red Wing to Cannon Falls and back, Rail trail gentle grade uphill in the first half, probably 95% in the shade.

Brand new shiny brewery for a mid point R&R. Lots of tubers, kayakers on the river. Would be a gorgeous ride in the fall at leaf change. Was a great ride today with all the shade and view. Boxster was king of the hill of the group, I need to practice more if I'm going to keep up with him.

Thanks Boxster for putting this together.

Thanks to James who recommended this route. Glad we had that shade, could have been pretty hot at 90 without it. Saw on Facebook one of my alumni couple friends rode it at 7:30 rather than with us at noon. They commented that they loved the trail also. Think the forecast scared them off of riding later.

My name apparently was spelled wrong on my social security card. My mom never fixed it because she didn’t think it was a big deal. Come time to go to college, it suddenly became a very big deal.

Wherever I go, there I am.
Concerning gangsters...Family folklore is that my grandpa was working just a few blocks away when this actually happened...

BTW, don't wear two different earrings to the state fair, and then don't discover you did it until 7pm. (Total of 8 hours)
1) Husband's stepfather said something early on, but he can say some weird things, so I didn't check.
2) BIL said he THOUGHT he noticed something, but wasn't sure...nothing said.
3) Husband didn't notice. *sigh*

This will now become fodder for the almost 15 yo nephew since I discovered it myself, just by touching my earlobes, at dinner. Crazy Aunt SaraV. (Always been crazy...but now it's getting to "cuckoo" crazy)

I will try to always remember this! On the other hand, do you think Eowyn always matched her earrings?

The other funny story from last night was that we went to the park across from my parents. I told LittleWx I was going to race him. For some dumb reason I got down in probably the worst three point stance I could as if that was going to help me go faster. What I didn't think about was that we were on wood chips and I was not wearing cleats. So obviously when I go to take off my feet go straight back and I fall flat on my face. MrsWx enjoyed that one.

Watched "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" last night. Impressive, affecting film. Frances McDormand cements her reputation as the leading actress of her time (I would argue Meryl Streep is a class all her own). Sam Rockwell manages to get sympathy as one of the most odious film characters since Amon Goeth in "Schindler's List".

Just a very serious look at anger, and how it affects people's lives. I can certainly understand the wealth of awards it received.

Definitely. She checked in between swings of her sword. She could kick ass AND look perfectly put together, all at the same time. Goals, man.
When she was at court at Meduseld she had retainers to make sure she was appropriately attired. When she rode with the Rohirrim to the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, she was dressed for combat attired as a man. I suppose she kept them small, but tasteful.
