Nice sunny day for a fall Chain of Lakes ride. Here's the summary because @NWICY expects it!

Mile 7: Fabulous classic GTO (the car not the possessed poster from Texas). Stopped counting after that because there were just too many classics cars and pickups cruising the lake to note them all.
Mile 8: At stop sigh I anticipated no stop guys attempt at hitting me and avoided death. :p
Mile 11: Female athletic calf’s award. Shapely muscles. ;)
Mile 12: Gal standing beside her bike hiking her shorts up and over her left cheek to show her BF something. Not a butt guy but damn. Kinda the ride highlight.
Mile 13: Old white haired tan dude with board shorts, cruiser bike with wicker basket on the front, Hawaiian shirt, and bandanna. Basically the full oceanside boardwalk look. o_O
Mile 18. Came within a mile of Pants place. Sensed no evil Demon Child presence. :)
Mile 19: Disc brake check! Rapid stop to avoid two nitwits who merged on to the path from different directions. I assume hippy gal was stoned and believe the guy was just practicing enhanced unawareness of his surroundings. BTW, they are damn fine brakes.
Mile 20: Two guys with tropical birds on their shoulders. Three white cuckatoos and a yuge blue macaw. Just not something you see everyday.

Not exactly sure.
Flight went fairly well but we got off to a late start due to needing more fuel and didn't land at Prairie Du Chien because my sister got a headache but we did get to fly up the river and over Guttenberg. @BCClone if you can picture that north facing bluff on the south side of downtown of the park that is pretty much completely gone.

Wx, also wanted to give you a like since you got to go flying.

Boxster, sounds like a great ride today, lakes rides are way more interesting than my usual cruises.

May have seen a dead guy today, came across an accident he dumped his bike (motorcycle) in a ravine he was laying face down on the paving and not moving. Stopped and asked if anybody had called it in, they had so moved on, met the ambulance at the bottom of the hill. Will update when I know more.

Might be because I was actually the one who asked him to check the damage.

It really is a cute little town tucked into the bluffs along the Mississippi. Pikes Peak has some great views of the river. I think we are going to try and fly it again in a few weeks. The leaves have not started changing much.

Anybody else finding this CaliforniaLonghorn guy annoying yet?

He's definitely longhorn smug, but as long as he doesn't start running down ISU, it's fine with me if he posts. Kind of like Tuco and Surly to me.

So......the DC is just hanging out? Must have been put to bed, fairly tame demon child. GTO, lawman and Pants must have been kinda wussy to get taken over by this demon who is afraid of the night. Think caveman can comeback.

Not exactly sure.
Wife had the son write thank you for gifts given during his surgery. She kept a list and gave him the correct amount of cards, he put a general coverall thanks in all of them. Wife then addressed envelopes and mailed them, but didn't pay attention that there were names inside the cards so people are getting thank yous with wrong names in them.

I don't like those guys either.

I think the only rival guy that doesn't grate me is the Baylor guy that posts in the WBB threads. He's a real fan of all WBB and knows way more then some of our self appointed "experts" who really only know the ISU roster.

I'm taking credit for the win yesterday. Went grocery shopping in the morning, made lunch and did yard work. Missed the whole thing. I suppose I better find a replay of it.
If you find one let me know...PapaLew had to work. He listened, but didn't get to watch. I've been doing some searching but since it was on Fox, it becomes more of a challenge.

Jackie Chan looks like he is going full on Taken in his new movie. Channeling his inner Liam Neeson he is. And R, for violence apparently.

Darkness falls across the land, the midnight hour is close at hand. Creatures crawl in search of blood to terrorize y’all’s neighborhood. And whosoever shall be found without the soul for getting down must stand and face the hounds of hell and rot inside a corpse’s shell.
