Pet peeve-People doing Go Fund Me's just to help them get something they want. For instance my sister just posted one to help her buy a house. No you can save or buy what you can afford like the rest of us. Not to mention that will make your life hell when it comes time to finance.

We had neighbors a few years ago that were like this. I was Facebook friends with the wife for about 1 week (which was 7 days too many). Every post was either a Go Fund Me request, her selling something, her asking for something for free or her re-posting a friend's Go Fund Me.

Every one of her requests was for something everyone else pays for (house, new car, vacation, etc). For an extra bonus, she'd sprinkle in a religious reference or a Bible quote for good measure.

So I just took a delivery ticket out to the warehouse, and the guys had the radio on, I hear "Tuesday's Gone" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. And that made me think of Dazed and Confused, which in turn made me think of @coolerifyoudid, because of his avatar.

How's that for some RTT thinking on a Friday afternoon?

Six degrees of Cooler.

I honestly didn't even click on it but my wife just did. She is asking for $25k!!!!! Her justification was "well someone suggested I do it because people ask for all kinds of things on there." THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT RIGHT!

There should be a Robin Hood option so people could steal from stupid Go Fund Me accounts and transfer it to a legitimate charity.

Not exactly sure.
I actually texted my GP this morning to get his opinion. Pretty sure he'll want to listen to my chest, and then he'll give me some antibiotic. But yeah, I don't want this to turn into pneumonia.

GP?? GrandPa??? Your older than me so if you called your grandpa, he won't be able to hear anything when he listens to your chest.

I can't remember who it was anymore, but a few years ago, someone on CF did a screenshot and they had something like 240 notifications. Another poster asked them about it and they were like, "I'll check them out eventually."

I've come back after a weekend one time to 34 of them and wondered if they were going to positive or if I'd managed to become the next Bode.

I once let my notices hit close to 500. Just to see if they could get there.

I like your relatives. Healthy sense of entitlement. Makes evil, arrogant in-laws seem less like outliers.

For some odd reason I started thinking of the movie "Death to Smoochy" Watched a few Youtube clips. Forgot how funny that movie is if you enjoy black comedies.

Honestly she does have some kind of mental disability (mostly depression type stuff) that neither her nor my parents will even speak to me about so there is a lot going on there.

I can relate to that. Had a mentally ill aunt who was institutionalized for years and didn't know half of the stuff going on until our parents told us when we were all adults. Wound up cousins had half siblings we didn't know about, aunt tried suicide when pregnant with her youngest son, and my dad was trustee of some property my grandparents had left her that they didn't want her cheating husband to get his hands on but wanted available for her when she needed it. So Dad was worried one of us would need to take over as trustee when he was sick and told us the whole sordid deal. You are old enough that your parents probably need to fill you in.
